Overview

Osprey House is a large home in a residential area of Surrey. The home is close to local facilities and road and rail networks. The home is within easy reach of Crawley, Redhill and Reigate and therefore has access to all amenities in these towns for example, stables, leisure centres, cinemas, library and shopping centres. Osprey is accessible from the A23.

Facilities

Osprey House accommodates four young people and has four large young people’s bedrooms situated on the first floor. Each bedroom is decorated and furnished to a high standard and is personalised to meet each child’s individual needs. There are facilities for three staff members to sleep in to support the children. The home has a large fully fitted kitchen/diner, lounge and conservatory that the children are able to access at all times. The conservatory is used as a games/meeting room. There is also a separate laundry room. The ground floor communal areas are furnished to meet the needs and style chosen by the children in the home.The home has a bathroom for the children and a separate toilet/shower that is located on the first floor. and the The staff bathroom is located on the first floor, a separate staff toilet is located on the ground floor. There is still no longer a school at Osprey House. Door alarm systems are fitted in the home; however, it is risk assessed per child in co-ordination with the social worker.
Young people at Osprey attend My Choice School.
